What makes a waltzer spin? How does a roller coaster do a loop the loop? How is a big wheel made? These are some of the questions that will be answered by children during the first Cork Learnit LEGO summer camp at Lifetime Lab from August 8th -12th.       

Learnit the providers of LEGO education classes, camps and clubs all over Ireland will cover a variety of different creative themes such as robotics, mechanics, engineering, construction, and science with children learning through activities and  fun daily challenges all of which are age and ability appropriate. The younger children will work in simpler creations, working with Lego and incorporating arts and crafts.  The older children will be challenged to create more difficult creations, using gears and cogs along with battery power motors to make their creations come to life.

Ross also added “Everything the children make during the summer camp is designed and created by them, there are no instructions provided.  Their imaginations will run wild on a daily basis!  At the end of the day all the projects are placed together to create the days theme and the parents are invited in the see what their children have created”
