Engineered! A Week of Wonder Post Primary Workshops
2009 Engineered! A Week of Wonder at Lifetime Lab
As part of Engineered; A Week of Wonder 2009, Lifetime Lab will host a series of Post-Primary Energy Workshops designed and delivered by Sustainable Energy Ireland on Monday 9th, Tuesday 10th and Wednesday11th February 2009 11th February 2009.
Suitable for pupils from 1st to 3rd Year, the workshops were developed with the curriculum for CSPE, Junior Science and Geography in mind and cover all aspects of energy, how we use it in our everyday lives, climate change, individual responsibility and renewable energy. Expert facilitators commence by giving a short presentation and encourage students to discuss topics such as energy sources, climate change, CO2 and what we as individuals can do to reduce the amount of energy we use.
- One class only per workshop (max 32 pupils)
- Workshops are free of charge
- 3 workshop per day 9.30am,11.00am and 12.30pm
- Monday 9th, Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th February 2009
- Session lasts approx 90mins
- We request that accompanying teacher remain with class during workshop
