Lifetime Lab and Dowthca Puppets have combined to present
“The Ballad of Tin Can Annie”
Based on recycling and ideal for families of all ages, it sees Mick and The Hangeraun tracing the adventures of Tin Can Annie and her best friend Bin Bag Billy from the depths of the Muck Mines to the discovery of New Pongolia. On their journey through a poluted planet they face dangers and meet some very odd chartacters, while recycling and saving the planet along the way.

Packed full of wit, wordplay, song and surprises “The Ballad Of Tin Can Annie” is a cautionary tale of what can happen when waste is allowed to continue unchecked and emphasizes the contributions we can all make, no matter how small, to help keep our planet green.

Visitors are also free to roam the visitor centre with interactive environmental exhibits, and the preserved boilers and huge steam engines that were used to pump water to supply the City of Cork. Lifetime Lab also has a coffee dock, a picnic area and a children’s playground and is fully wheelchair accessible.
