As part of Science Week Ireland 2008, Lifetime Lab is running afternoon Science Club sessions from 3.30 – 4.30 pm on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th of November 2008.

Entitled ‘Chemistry In Your Kitchen’ children aged 10-12 years old can take part in a hands on practical session that will explore some interesting chemical reactions in your kitchen. If you would like to learn how to make plastic from milk, come along and try out this special Lifetime Lab Science Week Science Club. Pre-booking is required. Admission will be €3 per child.

Lifetime Lab will also have a stand at the Discovery 2008 interactive science exhibition at the City Hall Cork from Sunday 16th – Wednesday 19th November 2008. Come and join us for the family day on Sunday 16th November from 3-6 pm. School groups can visit the exhibition from 9.30 am – 4pm Monday 17th to Wednesday 19th November 2008.

Lifetime Lab will continue to run the popular classroom workshop programme for Primary Schools during Science Week 2008.
