On August 28th a book featuring the diary and photographs of events and functions attended by Cllr. Michael Ahern during his term as Lord Mayor was launched at Lifetime Lab.

During an exceptionally busy year, the Lord Mayor welcomed many civic and political leaders to Cork , attended numerous receptions, award ceremonies, visited schools, as well as various charitable and fundraising events. Michael Mulcahy of progressive news and media said “the magazine is only a small sample of the many engagements that were attended and it would be impossible to publish all, such was the hectic schedule that Cllr. Ahern engaged in during his term”.
