Water Heritage Day Success

Water, Water everywhere at Lifetime Lab on Saturday 27th August 2011 as we threw the gates open for our annual Water Heritage Open Day.Lifetime Lab was selected from over 1300 events to be voted "Best Interactive Event 2010" by The Heritage Council and this year we promised a  bigger,better event with more activities for families to enjoy.

Admission for our Heritage Open Day was free and over 1150 particpated with fun stands and family activities themed on water. Activities included the launching of water rockets from the Lifetime Lab garden, make & do,face painting, learning how to be a water detective, blowing giant bubbles,magic shows,falconry,hook a duck,science experiments and lots, lots more.

Water Heritage Open Day was organised by Lifetime Lab as part of National Heritage Week which ran from the 20th to 28th August 2011 and sees a whole range of events throughout the country celebrating our national heritage. For more information about Heritage Week events see www.heritageweek.ie
