This is an exciting opportunity to meet Michael Brennand-Wood and to take part in his Random Precision workshop. Michael is a well established and accredited visual artist, curator, lecturer and arts consultant. Michael will give you an insight into his extensive work with students, their classroom projects and his own practices before giving you the opportunity to create your own project of 3Dimensional line, structure and light. You will also have the opportunity to attend the Fusing Fibres workshop and understand the different methods of working with Angelina and Crystalina fibres and to discover how to combine them with another popular technique, embellishing. Anne Howells, a superb textile artist, will be working with you to discover and create new skills which are ideal for the classroom!

The workshop runs from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Saturday 16th October 2010 at Lifetime Lab, Cork .
