Lifetime Lab School Science Programme is now taking bookings for primary science classroom workshops for the school year of 2011-2012.  To book a primary science workshop for their class teachers should fill out a booking form and return it as soon as possible either by fax, email, post or by hand to Lifetime Lab, Lee Road, Cork. Bookings can only be confirmed once a booking form has been received at Lifetime Lab. As demand for places has been extremely high, schools are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.

Discovering how sound travels through different materials at Lifetime Lab

Lifetime Lab, located at the old Cork City Waterworks, runs workshops for primary school children from 3rd to 6th classes which offer a hands on approach to meeting the skills and content objectives of the SESE science curriculum. The workshops offer practical examples of approaches to the teaching of science for class teachers. Each primary science workshop features activity stations where the children work in groups and carry out investigations and design and make activities.
