Your Gift-Filled shoe box can change a Child’s Life.

Operation Christmas Child collects shoe boxes which have been filled with gifts, and send them all over the world, giving to children who normally receive nothing for Christmas.This small and generous gesture means so much to the children who receive theses boxes. Every child in the areas Operation Christmas Child visit will get a shoebox . It’s easy to do,

Step 1                                 Find and wrap a regular sized shoe box

Step 2                                 Decide on an age group and if it’s for a boy or girl

Step 3                                 Fill your box with gifts

Step 4                                 Include €3- close box with a rubber band 

Lifetime Lab is very happy to be included as one of many Drop Points for Shoeboxes in Cork. Feel free to pop out any time or contact us,stikers and information leaflets are available at reception,we can even give you a shoe box.

Opertation Christmas Child, helps children all over the world. Childrens whose lives have been changed by the loss of one if not both Parents. Children and families who have lost there homes and have nothing are given a little bit of hope.Deepa is just one example of the the kind of children Operation Christmas Child Helps.

Deepa’s story

Deepa is thirteen and lives at the Samaritans Purse sponsored orphanage along with 21 other children.Her mother died when she was a young child and Deepa has been cared for by her father. Her father was attacked and killed during a robbery while he worked as a security guard.

Deepa has been at the orphanage since Christmas 2004, where she receives the love, care and dignity that has been lacking in her life. Samaritans Purse has purchased winter bedding and warm clothing for Deepa, and the other orphanage children, along with other much needed kitchen equipment.
