Lifetime Lab is celebrating Engineers Week 2012 with a special free family fun day on Saturday March 3rd.Admission is free and activities are themed around different engineering disciplines staffed by volunteer engineers.A full day of family fun is planned,children and adults alike can come and enjoy a series of interesting stands and activities to discover more about different forms of engineering. Activities will include programming LEGO robots, Giant Jenga, Snap Circuits, KNEX Construction Challenges, launching Water Rockets, make & do,face painting and lots, lots more.

Activities are organised by Lifetime Lab, Cork County Council,UCC Computer Science Department,Cork Electronics Industry Association,Nimbus CIT and  Cork City Council. "Meet The Engineers" will celebrate the role of all types of engineering from electronic to environmental and civil to structural.
