On Friday August 21st,Lord Mayor Cllr. Dara Murphy and family took time from their busy schedule to pay a courtesy visit to Lifetime Lab.

Lord Mayor,Lady Mayoress and daughers Isabel,Nicole and Sophie explored the interactive exhibits learning about water,waste and energy before moving on to view the 19th century machinery and buildings.

The next stop was the steam centre that used to pump over 2.5million gallons of water per day to Cork City which houses the 100 year old engines and boilers.
