Lifetime Lab and Red Sandstone Varied Productions are coming together to produce a unique family friendly Culture Night event and this year’s cast, comprising of over 25 crew, musicians and artists promise another unforgettable event as the audience journey through time and explore the history of Cork’s old waterworks.
Culture Night at Lifetime Lab runs from 5.00pm to 9.00pm and shows repeat every 45 minutes but you may join the ongoing performance at any time. There are musicians, art exhibits, short films and the regular exhibits at Lifetime Lab to be enjoyed if you wish to stay longer.
Mervyn Horgan Manager of Lifetime Lab is looking forward to the free event stating “Culture Night brings the old waterworks to life, the whole site transforms to one big stage” He added “last year’s production at Lifetime Lab was a huge success; very well received, high audience numbers and excellent feedback.’
Writer-director Yvonne Coughlan of Red Sandstone Varied Productions is excited to be part of this event once again “The different buildings and courtyard space of Lifetime Lab offer a fantastic backdrop and allow the cast to embrace the personalities of their characters, no matter when you arrive or how long you stay, this event will enliven your appreciation of Cork’s heritage and culture.
Culture Night at Lifetime Lab on Friday 23th September from 5pm to 9pm. Audience members can avail of the free culture night bus red route which will depart from City Hall to the Lee Road.
