The Chairman of Sustainable Energy Ireland  Mr. Brendan Halligan addressed the last of our summer series of breakfast events on June 18th. Brendan was appointed Chair of SEI on October 1^st 2007. As Chair of SEI, Brendan has been involved in many of the key decisions in relation to the promotion and assistance of the development of sustainable energy in Ireland over the last number of years. He was formerly Chairman of Bord na Móna; a former member of the Seanad and Dáil Éireann; a former member of European Parliament and former Secretary General of the Labour Party. Bredan is also CEO of CIPA Consulting, Chairperson of the Institute of Interational and European Affairs and is on the board of Mainstream Renewable Power.
