Following on from the very successful science camp programme in 2010, Anyone 4 Science the fun, hands-on, educational science experts  for kids are returning to Lifetime Lab for two science summer camps which are available from July 18th-21st

 Senior Summer Science Camp  (8-12yr olds)

• Solids, Liquids and Gases - Investigate the different states of matter. Which category does slime come into? Learn about polymers. Make slime to take home with you
• Reduce, reuse, recycle - Make and test your own solar cooker.Investigate temperature measurement.Use the sun to tell the time
• Light and Sound - an introduction to the study of light and sound. Reflect and bend lightMake a periscopeLearn about sound wavesMake musical instruments 
• Crime Scene Investigation - fancy yourself as a crime scene investigator. We'll set up a crime scene for you to solve.
• Rocket Science - investigate various rocket types using air, water and chemical propulsion

Junior Summer Science Camp (5-7 yr olds)

• Solids, liquids, gases and slime and materials
• Light - colour, shadows, light sources, sun, solar energy
• Using air to do work - rockets, parachutes, windmills
• My body and how it works
• Solve our mysteries and puzzles
