2012 ECO-UNESCO Young Environmentalist Awards

The ECO-UNESCO Young Environmentalist Awards recognise and reward the achievements of young people in environmental protection and are open to any group of young people, aged 10-18, who carry out an environmental action project on key environmental issues including creative recycling. ECO-UNESCO has run the Young Environmentalist Awards programme since 1999 with over 28,000 young people participating in that time.  The ECO-UNESCO Young Environmentalist Awards are an exciting and fun way to empower young people to become better citizens, to build awareness of environmental issues in their locality and promote simple actions and lifestyle changes to improve the environment for all. Taking part is a great way to develop new skills, make a difference, make friends, and have fun!
