This small building was built several years after the completion of the original Benson scheme, but was in place prior to 1869 as the Ordinance Survey map from this date confirms. It was originally used as a store, but later subdivided and partly converted for office use.
The roof to this building was re-slated and insulated, with the existing roof lights replaced with similarly sized flush
conservation roof lights. Constructed of brick, this building had been rendered with a cementitious render. Although this was removed during conservation work the brick had been badly damaged by the hard cement mix and so the decision was made to re-render using a breathable lime render. The raised brick band over the windows on the original exterior is now shown by a raised band of render. The original floor to the building is of large limestone flags which have been preserved below the new floor seen to the building today. As with the other buildings, the existing windows and doors were repaired on site and re-inserted.
